Purpose & Vision The Jones Family Foundation is dedicated to fostering community resilience, advancing local healthcare, and empowering individuals through educational opportunity. Established as a living legacy of leadership, integrity, and profound dedication to others, the fund provides targeted financial support to premier healthcare institutions, critical medical research societies, and local educational foundations that ensure every individual has the opportunity to thrive.

As of June 20, more than $25000 is marked for Joseph Brant Hospital as Douglas Jones honours his father and thanks the staff of Joseph Brant Hospital that took such good care of his father in his final weeks.

What does the Foundation Support?

• Community Healthcare & Patient Support Investing in medical excellence, patient comfort, and vital research by providing direct funding to key health organizations, including:

  • Joseph Brant Hospital: Supporting local, high-quality care and facility enhancements within the community.

  • Canadian Cancer Society: Funding ground-breaking research and compassionate support systems for patients and families.

  • ALS Society of Canada: Partnering to fund critical research, advocate for the ALS community, and improve the quality of life for those living with the disease.

• Educational Opportunity & Equity Continuing a deep commitment to student success, community leadership, and removing financial barriers for youth. The fund proudly partners with the Halton Learning Foundation to ensure local students have the resources, tools, and support necessary to achieve their full potential in the classroom and beyond.

• Legacy of Care Responding dynamically to emergent community needs, ensuring that help is always available to those navigating hardship, and honoring a lifetime of service by lifting others up.
