What is the Foundation?

The Tracy Youck Foundation has been established in Tracy's memory to provide youth with educational opportunities through the arts and to provide post-secondary opportunities for future educators. 

The foundation's two-part goal reflects Tracy's dedication to enriching the lives of her students and sharing her expertise by mentoring young teachers. She was a creative spirit who spent hours developing engaging lessons for her students. She firmly believed in the importance of the arts to learning and was committed to developing each individual's unique capabilities. She also focused much of her time creating content for other teachers and helping them start their careers as educators. The foundation has been established in recognition of the immense contribution Tracy made to the lives of her students and to the growth of young teachers. 

What does the Foundation Support?

The Tracy Youck Foundation will further Tracy's legacy by identifying new and existing opportunities for youth in the arts, in all its forms, throughout the province; as well as by enhancing their opportunities to develop and grow. The foundation will also establish a scholarship to assist future educators achieve their goals.
