Welcome
What is the Foundation?
The Tony and Dea Foundation is a family-led philanthropic foundation dedicated to strengthening access to mental health support within communities. Founded by Tony and his daughter Dea, the foundation is guided by a shared belief that mental health care should be accessible, compassionate, and integrated into everyday community life.
The foundation’s primary goal is to support the placement of qualified mental health therapists within CMHC programs, helping expand the availability of professional care where it is most needed. By focusing on funding, partnerships, and long-term stewardship, the Tony and Dea Foundation works to remove barriers to care and support individuals and families through trusted community mental health organizations.
Through initiatives such as supporting Hats On for Awareness and collaborating with community partners, the foundation seeks to foster understanding, reduce stigma, and ensure that mental health services are available, sustainable, and rooted in care. This work reflects a commitment not only to today’s needs, but to building stronger, healthier communities for generations to come.
What does the Foundation Support?
The Tony and Dea Foundation supports initiatives that expand access to mental health care within communities, with a particular focus on funding the placement of qualified mental health therapists within CMHC programs. By strengthening frontline support, the foundation helps ensure individuals and families can access professional care in familiar, community-based settings.
In addition to supporting therapist placement, the foundation contributes to mental health awareness initiatives, education, and programs that encourage open dialogue and reduce stigma. The foundation prioritizes partnerships with organizations that demonstrate compassion, integrity, and a commitment to long-term impact.
Through thoughtful financial stewardship and collaboration, the Tony and Dea Foundation seeks to support mental health services that are sustainable, accessible, and grounded in care — helping communities build stronger foundations for well-being.
