This gift fund was set up in hopes of continuing the legacy of Gavin Francis Machado, husband, father and grandfather. He always believed in giving back to those less fortunate emphazing on education, development of skills to be self sufficient, and the basic necessities such as clean water and vaccines. He was a major contributor in building a school, St. Theresa Primary School in India and continued to support many projects up until his time here on earth. We were so proud of him.
This legacy is important to us so that many more can benefit from his unselfishness and make the world a better place. We give you our most heartfelt thanks for your contribution.

The majority of Gavin's philanthropic work was conducted through Chalice, a Catholic international aid charity focused on child, family, and community development. It was through this organization that he built St. Theresa Primary School and sponsored many children in their education. As a family we will continue to sponsor this initiative.
