Welcome
What is the Foundation?
In loving memory of Duke Nash.
Duke Nash (Born July 5, 2015), beloved son of Liz Warden and Jeff Nash, passed away peacefully at home in the morning Friday, February 9th, 2024 at 8 years of age.
In May 2023, Duke was diagnosed with ALD (Adrenoleukodystrophy). Since that time his family has rallied around him to provide Duke the required care he has needed for treatment of this incurable illness.
Duke will be remembered as a loving boy full of energy and laughter with a beaming smile. He loved telling jokes and stories to everyone. He also enjoyed playing with and trying to keep up to his two older brothers - Charlie and Beau - creating a jovial lively atmosphere at home. Duke was a wonderful son, brother, cousin, grandson, nephew, and friend.
Duke’s family is incredibly grateful for all the support they have received during this impossible time from friends and family, near and far. They especially want to thank everyone in the Owen sound & Cobble Beach community and especially Duke’s classmates, teachers and administrators at Duke’s school - Keppel- Sarawak Elementary school.
What does the Foundation Support?
Thank you for your donation. The family will make requests to grant these funds over time to charitable organizations that honour Duke's legacy such as organizations that are providing research and treatment of ALD; organizations that help children and families going through similar unthinkable health issues; as well as other children's charities in Ontario and Canada.
Thank you for being a donor and for every donation. It will help us to remember Duke and his fun loving spirit.
