Who can I contact if I enter the wrong donation amount?  

If the amount you entered was lower than you originally intended, please feel free to process another gift to bring your total donation to the intended total.

If the amount you entered was higher than you intended, please contact support@giftfunds.com to report this error. Please include the following information in your email to assist us to quickly and easily identify and rectify the issues:

  • Donor Name
  • Receipt number
  • Transaction amount
  • Intended Transaction Amount

We will refund you the difference between your intended gift and the submitted amount, a new donation receipt will be issued to reflect the changes, and the original receipt will no longer be valid.

How long does it take for a donation receipt to be issued?  

Donation receipts are issued immediately via email through the EasyDonate.com system. For this reason, it is very important that you include a valid email address. If you don’t receive your donation receipt, please check your email’s spam folder and spam settings. Sometimes auto-generated emails get caught up in security spam filters.

I never received my donation receipt. What do I do? 

Donation receipts are issued immediately via email through the EasyDonate.com system. If you don’t receive your donation receipt, please check your email’s spam folder and spam settings. Sometimes auto-generated emails get caught up in security spam filters.

  • Donor’s name and contact information
  • Email address you entered at the time of making the donation
  • Date of gift

I’m not in Canada; can I still make a donation? 

Absolutely. The donation will be in Canadian dollars, the current exchange rate will apply to your credit card transaction. The donation receipt you will be issued is suitable for Canadian income tax purposes only.

The Al Potvin Family Foundation‘s mission is to empower children and youth in Mississippi Mills to realize their potential.

The foundation’s funding interests are within the area of educational opportunity and non-judgemental support for local children and youth. There are three categories of funding including:
